The first affordable 3-way speaker from Xavian! The idea to create a brilliant and affordable 3-ways speaker of classic construction was born in the 2009.

We are now proud to introduce the Preludio: a pure and classic 3-ways system of medium size with front bass-reflex ports.
The Preludio concept allows you to listen to all of your favourite recordings with great bass potential in medium and wide listening rooms.
Only paper membranes are used for the mid-bass and bass drivers, and provide high dynamics with low distortion.
The high frequency unit is the famous Danish ring radiator. The mid-bass unit (a custom Scan-Speak driver) works in a voluminous cabinet without power compression or colouration. This chamber is internally damped by a 3 layer method.
The bass unit may be also considered as a sub-bass unit thanks to the great excursion of the voice coil.
The passive crossover, using 25 high quality components, is designed to allow for coherent response.
Front mounting of the massive alluminium bass-reflex ports make room installation of the Preludio much easier.
To match each aesthetic demand, you may choose from natural hand-crafted walnut, cherry and maple veneers. On request, bianco and nero finishes are also available.
